BACKGROUND

Dill Dillon, real name Wallace, was born in South Carolina to a teacher and a priestess. With him would come his younger sister Nicole August 1992. Dill was a happy, outgoing child who was easy to get along with.
He amassed a large group of friends who he frequently hung out with until he moved in 1996.
His life was relatively unremarkable before having to adapt to his sister's growing list of medical issues. This caused him to feel resentment towards parents, feeling ignored. Despite his struggles, he tried to remain hopeful.

TEEN YEARS

As a teenager, he was given more responsibility to take care Nicole (bathing, feeding, aiding with mobility, giving her essential medications, ect.). With the amount of responsibility that he had for someone his age, he grew to hate caring for her, wanting to live a normal life like his peers.
He often hid his issues from others, not wanting to come off as weak or face ridicule.

Being severely depressed, he remained outgoing, social and out (of the house), which gave him a distraction from the main source of his issues (his parents).

With the growing stress of managing 2 children, one with Anxiety and ADHD, the other with mental and physical disability, life at home became dull with a tense atmosphere. This resulted in further resentment towards his mother in particular, she was much more harsh with him.
She started to greatly disapprove of Dill entirely, acting as he was extra, unwanted weight, even more so when he started getting piercings. His parents HATED this, Emilia acted as if her son was possessed by satan, Charles accused him of being influenced by white culture.

GRIEF

Eventually in 2002, Nicole at the age of 10, died of a seizure. It wouldn't be until hours later that her brother would find her motionless.
There was realistically nothing he could have done as he was too late. Even with Dill declaring that he wasn't there at the time, Emilia insisted that he had some amount of responsibility. He would struggle immensely with guilt following Nicole's death.

While struggling with his sister's death, he would lose one of his good friends, Masha. Dill understood potential reasons why she did what she did. He often claimed that Masha's actions were partially justified and not her fault.

PERSONALITY

Dill is easygoing and understanding but, is very private about his personal life to most.
