Octavius Luis Moriotto, often referred to as his nickname "Viz" was originally born in New York to his Italian-American
father and Mexican mother on August of 1985. Octavius' childhood was relatively unremarkable other than him being picked
on for his weight, despite this, it didn't really get to him. His mother often pampered him while his father would constantly
pick him apart, often saying how disappointed he was with him, which intensified as he approached his teen years.
During his teen years, he was a self-labeled "mallgoth", which often got him ridiculed by other alternative peers.
With this style change of wearing oversized clothes covered in chains he sewed on himself, his father further distanced him.
His father would often talk to him about his
music and his clothes, wondering if he was mentally ill or just doing it to piss him off. Octavius'
father hated his style, so much to the point of refusing to call him his son, often wishing he was normal instead of a "fuck-up".
Octavius was primarily alone until he was welcomed by Masha and Dill to their friend group initially out of pity, though him
and Dill became relatively close while Masha and others didn't care for him, finding him annoying and at times, embarrassing.
Other than Dill, Masha and 2 others (who only tolerated him), he was alone.
His loneliness was not because of the bullying he experienced or him being
closed off, it was primarily because he was an edgelord, especially during his middle school and high school years, which got really annoying.
He often told others that he praised satan and that his music scares normal
people (he listened to KoRn, Slipknot, Orgy, Marylin Manson and Limp Bizkit).
Other alternative people refused to let them
into their group because of his performative brooding attitude.
